Robert Churchill

A manufacturing executive based in Lakewood, NY, near the Pennsylvania border, John Robert Churchill Jr. earned a bachelor of arts in business administration from Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia. Since 2012, he has served as president of Merit Industries, upholding a commitment to make modern manufacturing processes more efficient and competitive. With an emphasis on continuous quality improvement and best-in-class customer service, Robert “Rob” Churchill handles daily operations and strategic direction for the AS9100-certified company.

Previously, Rob Churchill served as a sales manager at Merit, where he promoted the company’s brand across the region and dramatically increased sales. Apart from his leadership responsibilities, he has taught and mentored students at the Chautauqua County Manufacturing Institute of Technology.

An active philanthropist in his local community, Mr. Churchill has made large donations to Lakewood Hartley Park and the Lakewood Memorial Library. An accomplished martial artist, he practices the Korean art of Hapkido. When he is not busy overseeing operations at Merit Industries, he also enjoys spending time outdoors.
