John Shrader

I work at the crossroads of college and the real world.

I am a native Nebraskan who has lived and worked in California for more than 30 years.

I spent three decades working in Radio and Television sports in San Francisco.

I am currently an Assistant Professor of Journalism and Mass Communications at California State University, Long Beach.

Among my areas of specialty: Broadcast journalism, television and radio news, film making, media criticism, social TV, sports broadcasting, soccer broadcasting.
