I really hate talking about myself but here we go.

By day, I'm an assignment editor, a behind the scenes news chick, hanging out in Detroit. I find the news and assign someone to get it. I spend my days listenig to the scanners, conversating with interesting insomiacs (I work the 4 a.m. shift) and watching OPN (other people's news). I sometimes get a chance to squeeze in a little fielding producing.

I've been in news for more than 15 years and enjoy every minute of it. I took a break from news and got my feet wet in public relations for a couple of years. I wonder what's next?

I'm also a random blogger, which could be the same as a lazy, occasional blogger. I'll tap a little something out when I got something to say. Really, I'm just an information hoarder and need some place to staff my stuff. I tend to collect the strange and off cuff stuff. My blog is called Reality Cramps, which is the name of one of my never-ending journals.

I suffer from doddlegasms. Yep, I'm a compulsive doodler and all that means is that I doodle all the time, even in my sleep and on anything I can find.

I enjoy good converations and talking much trash but I don't debate politics, religion or race. If I did, I would probably be friendless. Now a good conspiracy theory is something else.

I'm a pinterst junkie and often try some of the things I find... with mixed results--yep, I'm a crafty chick too. I mostly try to copy the recipes. Guess that makes me a foodie too.
