Johnson Salako is the CEO of the Nigerian telecoms company MPS Technologies Ltd. At present, MPS Technologies Ltd is engaged in the rollout of the latest 3GPP standard mission critical communication network across Nigeria, and the company is committed to building the most reliable and secured network in Africa. As well as an enhanced broadband service and security communication service, the company offers a data center hosting service, a colocation hosting service and managed IT solutions. The managed cloud service is designed to enable all users to focus on their businesses by shifting the burden of managing their IT infrastructures to MPS Technologies Ltd.
Mr Salako is a member of the Institute for National Transformation’s board and holds membership of the Institute of Directors (IoD) in the UK, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the Mobile World Congress, and the Association of Telecommunications Companies of Nigeria (ATCON). He also represents MPS Technologies Ltd as a member of the 450 MHz Alliance, which is dedicated to promoting the allocation of the 450MHz spectrum around the world.
As well as an MBA in Business Administration and a degree in Civil Engineering (majoring in Environmental and Water Engineering), Mr Salako holds a diploma in Marginal Fields Development and a certificate in Project Financing for Marginal Fields.
The Abayomi Foundation for Humanitarian Advancement (AFHA) is the Salako family’s foundation; the organization supports many charitable causes, including those focused on the welfare of orphans and widows.
When he’s not working, Johnson Salako enjoys watching soccer and playing golf.
