Industrial meets Urban by this East Coast Middle American. William Johnson is an Indiana Native who, in the name of Love, relocated to New Jersey several years ago. A self-taught artistic raconteur, Johnson's unique portrayals of society's view through the eyes of the "Bots" are both enlightening and poinent. The "Bots" have found themselves running for president, posing together in a same sex union, struggling with drug habits, and protesting along side some of the most popular of actions. Johnson, a long time fan of punk rock and indie rock music, has taken the art of political, "tongue in cheek," media and raised awareness, much like the music he grew up with. This artist has not shyed away from having his bots weather life's trials and tribulations as he himself has. A year ago, Johnson's wife and he had their first child. This beautiful little boy came into the world 2 months early and only 3 pounds. He was the inspiration behind many of the more recent Bot portrayals.
