Public Servant | Historian | Community Advocate

A fourth-generation resident of Alexandria, Virginia, I believe it is my calling to serve my hometown, helping to preserve its rich history, and fostering local connections with Alexandria.

Currently, I serve as a member of the Alexandria City Council, where I work on initiatives focused on public policy, economic development, community safety, and local governance. My passion for the city's African American history led him to create the Manumission Tour Company, an entity dedicated to researching and sharing the vital, diverse history of Alexandria through specialized walking tours, bus tours and presentations.

In addition to my legislative and historical tourism work, I have spent over two decades supporting regional educational communities in his role as a Community Use Program Specialist for Fairfax County Public Schools.

Whether advocating for residents at City Hall, guiding a tour through historic streets, or rooting for Washington sports teams (Go Commanders!!), I am deeply committed to making a lasting, positive impact on the Northern Virginia region.
