John Textor

John Textor is a lot more than just a simple entertainer. The man who has been the driving force behind Pulse Evolution, is really starting a revolution in entertainment. Mainly in the field of holograms, pioneering a brand new way to entertain, by having past celebrities reappear at major events as holograms.

Textor actually helped create the Tupac hologram that appeared at Coachella, when he was the CEO of Digital Domain. He also helped to create the Michael Jackson hologram that appeared at the Billboard Awards. They're actually planning on resurrecting the Michael Jackson hologram for a limited tour engagement.

But that's not the only way that Mr. Textor has influenced the landscape of modern visual effects. Through both Digital Domain and his current company Pulse Evolution, he's been a part of the special effects in several favorite film franchises. Including helping to drive forward what was previously thought possible in the first Transformers movie, as well as being responsible for Brad Pitt's incredible transformation in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

Currently, Mr. Textor and Pulse Evolution are continuing their quest to keep changing and transforming the way that we traditionally think of visual effects, and virtual entertainment.
