John Tongret II
I am John Tongret II. I am an Information security profesional. Currently studing web application security, network security, and wireless security. My world revolves around the internet, computers and how they work ( more so how the flaws can be exploited and then secured.) I have been working with learning about, and stressing over computers since I was about 8 years old. Now I am setting up my own servers, running my own hosting and writing SOME of my own code, most of my code is web applications like Javascript,HTML4/5. I am looking to master javascript and HTML and move on to python, and the .Net framework. As for the offline part I speak a bit of java, I will soon be starting on C#, and C++. A wise man once said, "to truely break the law you must first know the law", That being said to exploit the code you must first know the code.
I am currently working a Publix Supermarkets. This is not where I wan't to be, unless I end up working in their information technologies division. Though there is more than there used to be, there is not much love for "those hackers", Hackers are the people that find exploits and ways to do things that are not in the average thought (thinking outside the box). I am a hacker. I am NOT out there stealling peoples data (credit cards ect.) I don't care about your information. I am out there finding new security risks and acessing them, so that I can try and fix it, and keep the malisious hackers out of your information. I wish everyone would go back to the days when Steve Jobs, Bill Gates and others were called hackers, They wore the title with pride. I wear my title with pride as well.
