Since 2006, Dr John Vassallo has treated patients as the owner of a private practice in Howell, Michigan. He concurrently serves as the medical director of several local rehabilitation and skilled nursing facilities. A graduate of the Ross University School of Medicine, Dr. John Vassallo also holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Curry College in Milton, Massachusetts, and Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, respectively.

After completing his academic training, Dr. John Vassallo did an internship and a residency in internal medicine at Dearborn, Michigan's Oakwood Hospital. He received board certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2005.

Alongside his day-to-day practice, Dr. Vassallo serves as the president of the Livingston County Medical Society and is a member of the Society of Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine.

In his free time, he enjoys a range of activities, including reading, fishing, boating, and playing rugby. He also works to maintain his own health by participating in CrossFit.
