John has most recently operated as the CTO & CPO for iTOK, Inc., where he was brought in to drive efforts to take this exceptional service and support company from a growing startup into a truly growth company. His efforts focused on systems stability, scalability, product development and critical compliance requirements for today’s high-end ecommerce sales, including expanding its products and services. He lead a record breaking technology and business diligence efforts with the CEO & CFO to bring in $18 million dollars of funding from ABS Capital Partners, in 6 short months. Mr. Fisher was the co-founder, CTO & CSA, Troppus Software, a company acquired by EchoStar for 10x plus: to which he held (post acquisition) the additional position of Vice President, Product & Technology, EchoStar Technologies. Prior to this Mr. Fisher was the co-founder, CTO and Chief Software Architect (CSA) of Peak8 Solutions, where he led all product development efforts related to service delivery platforms for customer service and technical support solutions. He has over 24 years of commercial software product development and customer care management experience, including the creation of award winning products (inclusive of PC Magazine Editor’s Choice and Best Tech Support solutions two years in a row) in the service and support industry. John also served as COO and EVP of New Product Development at both Distinctive Technologies and RMI.net, the latter being a publicly traded entity with 20 locations, and two subsidiary software development companies, to which he helped lead to successful acquisitions. John holds a number patents and is an experienced Application Architect, Agile Practioner and UXPA Professional.
During his career, John has worked extensively with such companies as Borland, Net Objects, Symantec, Netscape and Microsoft in the development and QA testing of some of their most popular commercial products. The TM Forum selected him in 2007/2008 as the lead architect for the creation of a catalyst program on Universal Device Management, to which his ideas and concepts were presented at two international conferences. John has also been a frequent guest speaker and panelist for industry events, such as Parks & Associates CONNECTIONS, TM Forum and CES. Prior to entering the technology business, John served for 8 years in the US Special Forces, in Operations & Intelligence.
