During the summer of 1995 I moved from South Africa to Manhattan, New York with $600 cash, my Gibson guitar, a sleeping bag, and one suitcase with only summer clothes (think Blizzard of '96). Two years later I drove though a tornado while relocating to Nashville, TN. If the storms don't break you, they make you tough & smart.

Since high school, I have been an entrepreneur and deal-maker at heart, and have mastered the art of creating success, even when starting with almost nothing.
