John Zelaya

As such, the company has donated generously to aid victims of the August 2009 tsunami in Taiwan, the January 2010 earthquake in Haiti, and other natural disasters. Investors Trust also sponsors major events, such as the Tennis Tournament Summer Cup 2010 in Punta del Este, Uruguay.

In his role as a Director, John Zelaya helps to oversee Investors Trust’s range of financial products, including various annuity and single-premium plans. The company offers diversified mutual fund and fixed-income portfolios, custom savings plans, trust structures, and a Platinum Plan with numerous investment options, customized asset management, and online account access. With emerging markets expected to become key players in the global economy in the next 10 years, John Zelaya and the rest of the Investors Trust team have led Investors Trust’s expansion to Hong Kong and Uruguay, with the majority of its business conducted in Latin America and Asia. To strengthen the company’s brand and position globally, John Zelaya initiated a corporate media campaign, placing advertising in magazines around the world. Such placements included two full-page ads in American Airlines’ Nexos magazine, with a circulation of 200,000.

Through the efforts of John Zelaya and the other Directors of Investors Trust, some of the most respected financial houses in the world have been selected to manage the investments of Investors Trust clients, including AllianceBernstein LP, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC, Franklin Templeton Investments, and The Permal Group. The investments Investors Trust offers include hedge and index funds; structured products, global, European, emerging-market, and North American equities; and European, U.S. Government, and emerging-market bonds.
