John Zoladz

A recipient of the Distinguished Citizen Award by the Alden Chamber of Commerce, Alden, New York native John Zoladz is the owner of Zoladz Construction Co., Inc., a civil works and trucking contractor with a division in Charlotte, North Carolina. John Zoladz has expanded the company from its inception in 1984 into a leading contractor with a team of 175 well-trained staff, a fleet of 300 late-model trucks, and various heavy equipment.

Through the company, John Zoladz has worked on projects in his home state and other states, including Alabama, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. Besides construction projects, he also steers the company’s community outreach programs. For example, in April and May 2020, he led the company to donate 8,985 meals to a dozen hospitals in western New York during the COVID-19 crisis. The meals were sourced from local restaurants. On top of this, he supports the company’s annual charitable contributions to Roswell Park Cancer Institute and Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts.
