John Paul Runyon, MD, FACC, is board-certified physician with expertise in cardiovascular medicine and clinical education. He has many years of experience in both research and clinical trials, including regulatory compliance, date interpretation and reporting, medical oversight, and study design.
John Paul Runyon, MD, FACC, gained his licensure in 1983 from the State Medical Board of Ohio after serving as an Intern for Internal Medicine at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Throughout the years 1983-1988, John Paul Runyon served and an Intern, Resident, Clinical Fellow of Cardiology, and Interventional Cardiology Chief Fellow. He has gained certificates from the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, and Interventional Cardiology.
Dr. Runyon currently works as the Chief Medical Officer and Co-Founder of One-Source Clinical Solutions in Carmel, Indiana. There, he is heavily involved in strategic development, staff education, clinical trial management, and sector evaluation. He also serves as a Consultant for NUVU Cardiovascular Consulting in Phoenix Arizona, where he provides practice analysis with a focus on increasing volume, market share, and margin through referrals.
