I am a highly motivated and capable professional chef Joi Kim, who is passionate about Korean fusion food.

I think food is a way that I can tell my life because I have been interested in cooking since I was young, and I have thought it is inseparable because it is close to me. I just liked making food, and I liked the sense of pride and happiness that comes from family and friends enjoying the food I made.

After going to America for the high school, I was able to experience various cultures because I could hang out with exchange students from various countries as well as American food, so I could taste various foods, learn about the diversity of cooking. I enrolled the culinary as an elective subjects and graduated Wisconsin Lutheran high school with Pro-start certification. After I graduated high school in Wisconsin, USA. I went to Australia to study more deeply about culinary and I was also working in the Korean fusion fine dining to develop my skills. While working there, I was attracted to combining Korean food, which is my own nation food, with ingredients and recipes from other countries, and I was convinced that I wanted to cook about it.

I got used to high volume dining through accompanying work while attending school, and I know how to comply with hygiene to provide good service to customers. I am currently attending Woo song University in Daejeon, Korea and looking for a restaurant for internship.
