Cho Chung Man is Architectural Designer and Associate Professor in Hua Zhong University. He is the leading research and education in the field of digital media in architecturalDesign. He is currently professional member in Hong Kong Institute of Building Information Modeling (HKIBIM) and board member in Digital Architecture Design Association (DADA).

Being the Head of Parametric Modeling in Aedas from 2010-2011, Cho Chung Man has wide experience in architecture projects in design and construction stages, including West Kowloon Terminus and Hong Kong Airport Extension with many others.

In 2009, Cho Chung Man co-founded Hong Kong Parametric Design Association and widely participated in teaching activities in Tsinghua, Hong Kong University, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Macau University, National University of Singapore, Tongji University, etc. This experience has enables him to use his knowledge in academy on practice and vise verse.

Mr Cho has various exhibitions in 2013, including shanghai art fair 2013, Wuhan biennale and Beijing Dada exhibition. Through integration of teaching design studio and exhibition, Mr Cho has established a design studio name meta focusing on small and cool parametric art works.

Cho is experienced in a wide range of techniques and over 150 software including the typical architectural softwares like rhino and revit, analysis softwares like ecotect, CFD, Game Engine softwares like cryengine, Lumina, scripting platform like eclipse, wordpad+, visual programming softwares like grasshopper, max, pt cloud softwares like geomagic, scan to bim, and many more. This attitude of testing and evaluating these tools allows innovation of a new workflow and method of working. Recently, Cho has also investigated 3D printing, 3d Scanning, virtual reality and smart furniture in Design with material department in HUST and friends creating a very interesting field of design research and production.
