I am a New England-area freelance writer and writing instructor, a lover of dogs, people, women's basketball, and women's ice hockey. I am working on a book about the pioneers of women's ice hockey. I'm also the author of three other books about women and sports. I worked for a daily newspaper for 22 years and now teach journalism at the high school level.
