I was born in Trinidad, a small island in the Caribbean and moved to Hollywood, CA to pursue my dream of becoming an actress...or as one of my friends' says..movie-star. Though it did not happen I never gave up on my dream just went down a different avenue and started writing my story as a screenplay. I am still working on getting it to the screen 8 years later. Did I mention that I am persistent as well as patient? Two of my most redeeming qualities. I finally moved to Dallas Texas and made a home there for the last 20 years...but I missed the sound of the waves and the smell of the ocean. I was now in my 50's and my plans were not quite working the way I hoped. I felt like I was a hamster on a wheel, spinning endlessly but going nowhere. I took a leap of faith two years ago and applied as an English teacher to a school in Singapore and here is where my journey began.
