Jolene Strauss

Oh The Places You'll by Dr. Suess has been a guiding force for me since kindergarten. I struggled as a child to connect with the educational system I was constantly surrounded by. It was because of my third grade teacher that I found my passion to teach, and encourage every student to find their passion.

I have worked at a preschool, swimming pool, first grade classroom, third grade classroom, and have been a home aid for a middle schooler with autism for the past year. I am also a proud advocate for Autism Awareness, and Immigration Rights, in my community.

I am a proud Golden Apple scholar, currently teaching high school ESL.
