My writing is rush hour. There are so many thoughts and ideas, but not all of them make it to the paper on time. Just like cars on the freeway, there are so many people trying to get somewhere by a certain time, but they do not always get there on time. Also, I tend to wait till the last minute to do things, especially writing. People leave earlier so they can avoid getting stuck in rush hour, but those who wait become stuck in traffic. If I started earlier on the assignment, then maybe I could finish a lot earlier, but I don’t. Same with the people stuck in traffic, if they had left earlier, they would have dodged the condensed traffic. During rush hour everyone moves so slowly and everything is so compacted. Similar to my writing, I write slowly, which causes me to finish at midnight or even later. Rush hour is very annoying and a pain for most people. It is the same for me with writing, annoying and a pain.
