Jon Dyson

I have over 25 years experience in the field of language and communication training and am flexible about and adaptable to different training locations and timetables. I have a clean UK driving licence and passport and am willing to travel wherever necessary to deliver courses.

I have accumulated a lot of experience in designing and delivering courses on Business English for non-native language learners, company-specific business communication courses for native and non-native speakers. I have also developed knowledge and skills in a range of digital media; office suites, cloud-based applications for training, designing and publishing and social media applications (Facebook, Wordpress, Twitter and LinkedIn).

I am resourceful, adaptable to changing situations, and have a highly-developed rapport-building capacity and autonomy when delivering courses or training sessions. I am a good-humoured, helpful and knowledgeable colleague to work with, although I won't hesitate to ask for guidance if I feel I am out of my comfort zone in terms of what I do or do not know. I work proactively to contribute to a harmonious atmosphere with colleagues wherever I am.

The skills I have developed are transferable to a wide range of contexts, be it delivering training using of digital media and specific applications for various purposes (materials development, promotional material, and so on). I am also at ease presenting to a large audience and have recent experience of public speaking at conferences and on the trainer training programme at York Associates.
