I've been a teacher for enough years that I finally think I know what I'm doing. I can't stay away from school myself. I earned my bachelor's degree from UNC-C, and my master's and specialist's degrees from App State.

I'm a real tech enthusiast and a gadget nut. I also spend way too much time researching my ancestry. I love to travel and like to go to new places and experience them like a local might.

I'm also known to ski and can't wait to try that on one of the western slopes some day.
