Jon Gifford

Jonathan Gifford Founder and CTO Jon Gifford is Loggly's CTO and chief arch-architect. Jon hails from either Australia or New Zealand depending on who's playing whom in rugby or cricket. A lifelong beard grower, Jon has written the same Lucene code twelve times in a row for various search related companies. While he's not spawning simulated annealing processes to find his reading glasses, or passing through an area without 3G, Jon resides in San Francisco with his partner Christina.
