Jonas is a storyteller, artist, and entrepreneur involved in numerous ventures. He's the creator and host of the Own Your Future Summit, cofounder of two startups in the digital health and wellness space; a film & media producer, an advisor focused on fintech and improving how we work, collaborate and learn; and he's also a NY Times and Los Angeles Times bestselling author who has contributed to dozens of books, interviews and stories.

He recovered from a stroke in his 20s, and worked through the tragic loss of his younger brother Ben in 2018, and recognizes that our time is limited, our possibilities infinite, and our health precious. And thus, he sees each day as blank canvas for growth, creativity, and contribution. He particularly enjoys teaching and sharing his knowledge and gifts, while learning from and empowering the success of others whenever possible.

Having worked behind the scenes on numerous books, media campaigns, and creative projects (theater, film, and music) for more than a decade, Jonas coauthored Hustle: The Power to Charge Your Life with Money, Meaning, and Momentum (Rodale Books USA/Penguin Random House UK), with Neil Patel and Patrick Vlaskovits in the fall of 2016. The book is about how we navigate work, clarify life pursuits, and frame a sense of identity on our own terms. It became a 4X New York Times, Los Angeles Times, IndieBound, and USA TODAY national bestseller. It has been published in multiple languages and rights have sold in more than 12 countries globally (Korean edition & Polish edition are faves). Jonas is represented by Folio Literary Management and is at work on his next book as well as a TV pilot, a feature film thriller, and music documentary he's developing with partners.

As an advisor, he helps startup and nonprofit organizations in fintech, media, health, and education, high-profile thought leaders and speakers, as well as creative artists and improvisation/sketch comedians like Four Day Weekend. He speaks at summits and conferences such as FestForums, SXSW, The Future of Work, and at venues like The Wharton Club, and leads and facilitates workshops in creativity, innovation, and wellness.

An avid traveler, he's explored four continents (and is currently mapping #5). He, his wife Laura, a wildlife veterinarian, and their daughter, live in Austin, NYC and Mexico.
