I'm an unexceptional product of the last 50 years of American Christianity. I committed my life to Jesus in response to an evangelist with Campus Crusade for Christ, was nurtured in a Jesus-people house-group, served on a missions team with Youth With a Mission and eventually earned a Master’s degree from an interdenominational Seminary in California. I worked with trailblazing pastors from every flavor of Christianity while serving as an administrator with the largest Doctoral Program in the world. I eventually became pastor of an aggressively growth-minded church in the Southwest and served there for 20 years. I was a tireless propagandist for the evangelical culture. I gloried in it’s ways & was intemperately bound to it’s pace. I had no idea of the confluence that was forming that would profoundly redirect my life & substantially reshape my view of God Himself.
