Married to Simha with five young adult children (three married) and four granddaughters. Originally from London - and still very much a Londoner at heart - but living for the last 28 years in Israel and loving it. I work in Israel as an information developer (technical writer) and graphic artist, but also commute to London as Visiting Rabbi of the Spanish and Portuguese synagogue in Bevis Marks.
My non-professional interests include (but are not limited to) English literature (Dickens, Trollope and Wodehouse are my all-time favorites), architecture, classical music, the liturgical music of the Western Sephardim, historical Judaica engravings and antique English silver.
