Jonathan Furst

Jonathan is in his fourteenth year at Amity Regional High School in Connecticut where he serves as the Chair of the Arts and Media Department. Jonathan created a Mac-based Media Lab for students to experiment with digital media and challenge themselves and teachers to develop new curriculum and create innovative multimedia projects. He created the iDig Video podcast for the EdReach network (http://edreach.us/author/jfurst/) which serves as a forum for exploring new applications of multi-media in education. Jonathan's presentations on multimedia technology in eduation include "Take the Leap: Creativity in the 21st Century Classroom." Jonathan was a Visiting Educator Fellow at Oxford University and an Apple Distinguished Educator - Class of 2011.
