Jonathan Leigh Solomon

Los Angeles, California

Jonathan Leigh Solomon – AKA Jonathan Solomon - has appeared on over two dozen talk and variety programs including regular visits to Late Show With David Letterman and on Comedy Central. Usually he was very funny

Writing for television Jonathan Solomon was on staff with the Emmy Award winning sit-com, Mad About You, Michael Moore's TV Nation, and a long list of other sitcoms and variety shows – Payne, Conspiracy Zone, Saturday Night Special,Bachelor Guy et cetera - most of which have long been forgotten (– and not without reason.)

Jonathan Solomon is the guy behind "School for Stand Up," teaching stand up comedy classes privately and through Santa Monica College. He teaches comedy writing classes through the Writers Store, both live and via webinars. He has guest lectured at UCLA Extension and NYU. His articles on comedy appear in the Huffington Post and Script Magazine. His innovative comedic acting classes,"Stand Up for the Actor," have been offered through SAG. He is also a comedy coach/consultant, assisting comedians, actors, script writers, and businesses, with comedy content.

Jonathan's humorous takes on politics and culture can be found at the Huffington Post, Politico and, among other stops on your radio dial, NPR .

Last, but not least, he always remembers the comedy club Golden Rule, "Please tip your waitresses," and asks that you do the same.
