Hi my name is Jonathan (I'm the one on the left) and I'm a third year student studying finance. I'm from Long Island NY and for the single aspect of my life I'm going to focus this bio on is how I was a Ski Instructor in High School. I started skiing when I was 8 years old on a ski trip that me and my family took to Massachusetts and I've loved it ever since. When I was 11 I decided to join the race team at my local mountain and while I was not as good as the kids that had been skiing their whole lives I was still able to hold my own and get a lot out of it. When I was 14 I decided to stop racing and start working as an instructor where I hoped to give kids the same kind of experience I had when I was younger. At 14 I started working as an Assistant Instructor, where I would help instructors with their lessons and learn from their expertise. At 15 I started working as an Instructor where I was able to work with kids of all different ages and skill levels. I found this position particularly rewarding because I took on a lot of new responsibility and it was always incredible to see the kids I was working with progress in their skills and fall in love with something that I'm so passionate about.
