I have 5 years of experience teaching middle school in Puerto Rico and Boston. I have just completed my master's in applied economics. This will allow me to further my work on closing the achievement gap for disadvantaged students. I strongly believe changing the culture of education is the most important step in this process. My teaching experience and education, coupled with my desire to help fix our education system, make me a strong candidate for research and policy positions in the education management industry.
