I solve problems with ideas.

If there’s one trend I’ve noticed in the land of the enterprise is that the imaginative and the executives are usually kept in separate playpens. Accountants, managers and the rest of the number crunchers are immersed within their stat sheets while the illustrators, copywriters and media pros are off elsewhere pulling ideas out of thin air (or where the sun don’t shine).. but what professional can thrive in such an insular habitat?

Minus the iron-on variety I’ve never been a fan of labels and I suffer from an irrational fear of thinking within the confines of a cubicle but “Creative Strategist” has so far been the best way to describe what I do. I relish the opportunity to explain big ideas with tiny pictures and coming up with alternate meanings for double entendres just as much as understanding whether or not these ideas have had an impact. Is anyone retweeting my most recent update? Are there any new subscribers for my newsletter? What about the blog post I wrote last week.. is anyone sharing it with their friends, fans and followers?

Whether it’s alongside a solopreneur or as a part of team at a boutique agency I am available to small, independent brands working in the hospitality, fashion and entertainment trades. As long as we can produce a memorable experience for our clients and their supporters, I am happy.
