Jonathan Bloomberg

Jonathan Bloomberg serves as the CEO of BloombergSen Investment Partners. He founded the long-term oriented, value investment firm in 2008 alongside Lawrence Bloomberg and Sanjay Sen. The company has been listed as a Top 100 Fund in the World by Barron’s (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017).
Jonathan holds an MBA from The Wharton School of Business and earned his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. He earned his undergraduate degree in Economics from Tufts University and has also studied at Oxford University.
Prior to co-founding BloombergSen, Jonathan was a Vice President at Burgundy Asset Management. He began at Burgundy as an Investment Analyst.
Jonathan also worked as a Senior Analyst at SG Capital Partners, a private equity and venture capital investment boutique in New York, and as an Analyst at Salomon Smith Barney. There, he worked on mergers and acquisitions, as well as high yield, secondary and initial public offerings.
Together with his wife, Jonathan has chaired and co-chaired a number of fundraising efforts throughout Toronto. They have raised over $7 million for the following organizations: Camp Oochigeas, Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center, United Jewish Appeal, The National Ballet of Canada, CJPAC (Canadian Jewish Political Affairs Committee), and The Canadian Opera Company.
He is also on the Board of Directors of Mt. Sinai Hospital. Additionally, Jonathan is the immediate past chair of the CJPAC Board of Directors and is also a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO). He is a former board member of The Canadian Opera Company Foundation.
