Jonathan Braddick is a Chartered Architect and the founder and managing director of The Design Review Panel (www.designreviewpanel.co.uk), Jonathan leads the national operation across England, where his team of professional volunteers provides independent, multidisciplinary feedback on built environment projects during the critical pre-planning stage. His role ensures that The Design Review Panel offers invaluable insight, particularly for developments emphasising sustainability and high-performance design.

Jonathan’s extensive experience spans work with award-winning small and medium-sized architectural practices in the South East and South West of England, where he contributed to a variety of project sectors. His keen interest in the shifting landscape of the architectural profession, particularly the evolving role of small practices within the construction industry, has been a defining feature of his work.

In addition to his architectural practice, Jonathan has an interest in architectural education. He has regularly served as a Part II visiting tutor and a Part III lecturer. He also serves as regular external examiner at the Welsh School of Architecture, where he helps shape future architects. His commitment to the profession is further demonstrated by his previous leadership roles, including serving as the South West Regional Chair of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) from 2014 to 2016 and as a past Chair of the Plymouth Branch of the RIBA.

Through his professional work, academic contributions, and leadership roles, Jonathan continues to play a pivotal role in advancing both architectural practice and education.
