Jonathan Coleman

A collaboration of every musical thing I've ever heard" That's what Jonathan Coleman has to say about his art.

As a young boy, Jonathan would watch his father (Paul Coleman) perform songs from the likes of Willie Nelson and Frank Sinatra. Frequently, Jonathan would stand on his fathers speaker and sing songs as like "Elvira" and "Ebony and Ivory".

On his own time, Jonathan would quench his musical thirst by listening to bands like Pink Floyd, Metallica and Bob Dylan. He would even venture out as far as listening to R&B and Classical music.

As a college student studying business accounting, his mother (Linda) bought him an acoustic guitar eventually ending his academic pursuit and igniting an artistic expression that had lurked inside for most of his life.

"I think all of those old time songs my father played seeped into my subconscious. All of that "other stuff" that my father didn't care for too much covered it all up like icing on a perfectly baked cake."
