Jonathan Hage is the Founder, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer at Charter Schools USA, Inc. He established the educational institutions across the nation instilling purpose, passion, integrity, and grit in its foundation, with the aim to provide a world-class education to every child.

He is one of the educational reformers In Florida who have given the parents and kids a diverse platform to make their educational choices, without worrying about missing out on anything.

Jonathan holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Colorado and M.A.L.S. specializing in International Affairs and Economics from Georgetown University. He has served in the United States Army, Army National Guard, and Army Reserves as a commissioned officer in the Special Forces, from 1986 to 1996. Throughout his expansive career, he has served as a board member as well as an advisor in the leading educational committees of the nation.

Jon was one of eight distinguished leaders that were honored for their significant contribution to education, industry, and government in the Center’s Silver Anniversary Summit & Celebration, held in October 2018 in Miami, Florida.

Jon has been relentlessly working in incorporating technology to make education as innovative and interactive as possible by using iPads, Apple TVs and laptops to dispense learning. His diligence to provide quality education has set a benchmark in education with one of the Charter Schools USA in Fort Lauderdale, Coral Springs Charter School being recognized in the list of Nation’s Most Challenging High School.

A fervent dirt bike and ATV rider, Jonathan has previously received the title of Floridian of the Year 2012 for his exhaustive approach in imparting education. Florida 500, an initiative of Florida Trend Magazine, recognized him in their list of state’s most influential business leaders.

He is a resident of Fort Lauderdale where he lives with his wife and four children.
