I'm a business owner of Network Marketing Recruitment agency in Leeds and Manchester and The Book Creative and Digital Recruitment. I have been running businesses since I was 26 and love developing people and seeing them become successful. More importantly than all of that I am a husband and Dad and love spending time doing fun things with my family.

I get passionate about things pretty quickly and most recently have 'adopted' a charity that I feel does some great work in Yorkshire for homeless and rootless people. It's called Simon on the Streets . The reason why I feel so passionate about it is that firstly they receive no money from the government (unlike most charities apparently) and so they have the constant pressure of generating funds to keep their services going. And secondly, the support work that they deliver to rootless and homeless people, often with mental health difficulties, is amazing.

This might not be the high profile charity like NSPCC or Oxfam who you see on TV regularly and get accosted by 'chuggers' on many a high street, it's a down to earth, self funding, bloodly hard working charity that I feel deserves more recognition.

Outside of work, other than the family, I am Chairman at Wetherby RUFC Junior Section and a member at Garforth Golf Club where I can be found most Saturdays protecting my handicap. I've also got a mild weakness for cars so you'll find me cleaning at least one of them at the weekend!
