I’m Jonathan; an enthusiastic lover of everything "old school".

From the rhythm of the lively music, to standard photography capturing periods of time seemingly from another world entirely, to the complex and wacky dances, the style of dress, and powerfully significant movements and moments that pushed the culture forward, I am an avid aficionado of it all. Anything vintage that I can watch, learn, and admire is my pride and joy.

Largely instilled by my father at a young age, having an "old soul" and generally being “old fashioned” is something I feel comes naturally, and is as a part of my fabric as my name. It is, at times, even something akin to a passion of mine.

I have spent countless upon countless hours listening to vinyl records, dating back to the 50s on up to the 90s, learning the "moonwalk" and the "hand-jive", and researching the talented and famous from bygone eras.

Now, do not misunderstand me. It is not that I overly romanticize the actual reality of these time periods, nor that I feel as if I belong in those eras, I am quite content with present day living. However, I do have a sort of fascination with each of them and respect and appreciate the culture during each of those years.
