Jonathan Jacob
Jonathan has had years of experience across many of the UK's commerical radio stations within the sponsorship, promotions and marketing sector.
He is acknowledged by the Radio Academy to be one of the UK radio industry's young achievers, collecting a 30 under 30 award in in 2011. He has also won an 'Honorary Life Membership'from the Student Radio Association for services to the organisation through producing their annual awards show and supporting their regular industry events and conferences.
An energetic and award-winning radio sales and marketing professional, Jonathan is currently based at Global Radio - the UK's premier radio company and the home of the UK's leading commercial radio brands with nearly 20 million listeners and the number 1, 2 and 3 commercial radio brands in the UK, with Heart, the Capital network and Classic FM respectively.
In his role as Sponsorship and Promotions Business Manager, he has a specific focus on creating and implementing innovative and effective sponsorship, promotional and interactive solutions across the seven radio station brands for London based leading PR agencies as well as direct London clients.
Jonathan addtionaly writes for and runs EarshotCreative.com - the online blog and resource for marketing and production sectors of the radio industry.
Addtionally - Jonathan is a member of the Radio Academy London Branch and supports the Student Radio Assocation including acting as Production Manager for the annual Student Radio Awards - supported by BBC Radio 1 and Global Radio.
Jonathan has previously worked for Absolutre Radio, 100.7 Heart FM West Midlands, 96.4 BRMB and 107.6 Juice FM Liverpool. Jonathan also was previously based at First Radio Sales looking after national sponsorship and promotions across 120 local commerical radio stations including UTV Media, UKRD and Celador Radio.
Outside of radio - Jonathan supports north London based 'Haringey Shed' charity by volunteering weekly with their Youth Theatre and providing consultanctly support for marketing and social media.
