Jonathan Komar, MD

An experienced pain medicine and rehabilitation physician, Jonathan Komar, MD, holds a bachelor of science in biology from the University of California, Irvine, and a doctor of medicine from the Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. While attending Wayne State, he served as vice president of the Aesculapian Honor Society and received clinical honors in pediatrics and neurology. After graduating from Wayne State in 1999, Jonathan Komar, MD, completed an internship in Internal Medicine and a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Washington in Seattle. He subsequently served a fellowship in musculoskeletal and spine medicine with Southwest Spine & Sports in Scottsdale, Arizona.

After completing the fellowship in 2004, Jonathan Komar, MD, remained with Southwest Spine & Sports to diagnose and treat patients using diagnostic electromygoraphy (EMG) studies, ultrasound-guided peripheral injections, and fluoroscopy-guided spinal injections. Dr. Komar left Southwest Spine & Sports as a partner in 2015.
