Since launching his career in medicine, Dr. Jonathan Landow has worked in conjunction with a number of businesses. The success he achieved through these ventures has allowed him to provide much needed support to children's charitable organizations such as the Grenville Baker Boys and Girls Club of Locust Valley and the Long Island Children's Museum. Additionally, Jonathan Landow, MD, has served on the Medical Advisory Board for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the Associate Board of the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research.
Dr. Jonathan Landow began his career as a Preventative Care Physician in a practice affiliated with St. Luke's/Roosevelt Medical Center in New York. In 1993, he became the Vice President of a venture capital firm that invested in healthcare and biotechnology companies. In 1994, he started New York Medical, for which he served as President. The company provided a variety of practice management solutions. Since 2010, Dr. Landow has served as CEO for Vein Care of New York. This practice offers treatments for vascular disorders including varicose veins. Dr. Landow is also the CEO for the National Health and Wellness Initiative, a program that strives to combat cardiovascular disease through the dissemination of education and free public health screenings.
Jonathan Landow, MD, received his Bachelor's degree from Vassar College, where he studied economics. He then completed his Master of Science in Nutrition and Biochemistry at Columbia University in New York, and went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Miami School of Medicine. He subsequently trained in the field of internal medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York.
