Jonathan Marsico

Talented acrylic painter, Jonathan Marsico, was born in 1971 in Denver, Colorado, where he currently lives and works. Marsico creates his amazing artworks, which place him as one of the most iconic artists of Color Painting Field, out of his atelier in Denver, Colorado.

Throughout his career as a painter, experimented with different techniques and mediums, until discovering acrylic paint. Now, he creates his artworks with this technique. Marsico started painting at an early age, when he was almost 5 years old. He continued to create his artworks while in high school. However, he faced the criticism of his teachers, who didn’t understand his art.

After that ad experience, Marsico decided to study law. He graduated at the Sturm College of Law of University of Denver. Nevertheless, Marsico realized that he didn’t like law at all. So, he decided to follow his passion for painting. The talented painter enrolled at the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. He graduated with magna cum laude honors and received a Bachelor in Fine Arts (BFA) degree.

In a time when art has an increasingly changing, abstract, and conceptual face, this acrylic painter Jonathan Marsico firmly maintained the utmost respect for what he wanted to do.
