Jonathan Milstein

Jonathan Milstein owns Children First Visitation & Transportation Services in Bellevue, Washington. A former Assistant Attorney General representing the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) with a firsthand understanding of the importance of providing positive family experiences when legal issues are involved, Mr. Milstein opened the company in 2010. Through the agency, Jonathan Milstein serves as a member of the Supervised Visitation Network. Serving King, Pierce, and Snohomish Counties, the agency coordinates safe places for children and families involved in the child welfare system or family law matters to have supervised visitations or exchanges. Mr. Milstein’s team consists of licensed social workers and individuals with advanced training in addressing family reunification; neglect; substance abuse; parental conflict or alienation; emotional, physical, and sexual abuse. Prior to opening Children First Visitation & Transportation Services, Jonathan Milstein acted as Principal of Puget Sound Professional Legal Services. Based in Washington state, Mr. Milstein represented families in contested family law matters. He focused on clients involved in contested dissolutions and third-party custody actions and on DSHS clients with limited ability to pay for legal services. Jonathan Milstein garnered a decade of experience as an Assistant Attorney General in the Washington State Office of the Attorney General. Assigned to the Washington State DSHS from 1999 to 2009, he started in the Medicaid division, and in 2002, he moved to Children’s Administration. Educated at the Seattle University School of Law, Jonathan Milstein has participated in numerous professional groups, including the Judicial Screening Committees of the Washington State and King County Bar Associations. Additionally, he served as part of the King County Special Assault Network. He spent several years training social workers and authored an article on workers compensation, which was published in the American Journal of Managed Care.
