Jonathan S
I simply enjoy writing and Hash Tag, Jonathan would be one of my outlets. The juice has got to go somewhere. I often feature my odd sense of humour in my posts and occasionally wonder if people might actually get it or am I shamelessly amusing myself. Other than the on-and-off blogging which include years of blog engine hopping, I write stories. However, none of which anyone can read yet.
On a fine Sunday morning, in a car wash, before church, I was named Jonathan. Born December 29, I often hear “Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday, Jon! Here’s your Christmas present and your birthday present all in one. You’re a purse-saver.” You’re welcome, everyone around me. I am was Chinese until I found out in 2011 that my mother’s grandmother was Thai. My whole life had been a lie. I now refer to my ethnicity as Chinese and 1/16 Thai (if my Maths fail me not) and I am secretly proud of my very watered-down Thai blood, Sawadee Krub.
I have been referred to as a ‘possessed Care Bear’, probably one of the many proud moments of my life.
As of now, I am doing nothing with life. Inflicting awkwardness, embarrassment and public shame on my peers is what I do best.
