Jonathan Sullivan leads with proven experience, vision, and a mindful passion for measurable business outcomes. As director of digital marketing and social media at Valspar, Sullivan leads digital strategic initiatives for Valspar's consumer division. In his role, Sullivan oversees digital strategy across big browser, mobile, social, and in-store digital shopper marketing for the brands of Valspar Paint, Cabot Stain, Devine Color, Plastikote, and Guardsman.

Sullivan has won his lion's share of awards and business successes over time working with other numerous notable brands as well. Prior to Valspar, he led digital strategy at Stanley Black & Decker for the brands of Black & Decker, Stanley, DEWALT, Porter Cable, and Bostich.

Earlier in his career, Sullivan held digital roles across news media, television, and not-for-profit in the Washington, D.C. and Baltimore areas, namely PBS (Maryland Public TV), National Aquarium Institute, and U.S. News & World Report magazine.

Sullivan resides in Chicago and enjoys spending time outdoors with his beagle, Rebecca. In his rare free time, Sullivan can be found enjoying Chicago's restaurants and exploring the city.
