Jonathan Woolery, MD
A frequent presenter and consultant throughout North and Central America and the Caribbean, Jonathan D. Woolery, MD, has cultivated a successful career in the medical and paramedic fields. A board-certified physician, Dr. Woolery possesses extensive education and work experience, and he has served in numerous medical capacities over the past 25 years. Among other roles, he has acted as firefighter, paramedic, paramedic educator, emergency medical services (EMS) program director, critical care hospitalist, intensivist, and emergency room physician at hospitals across the United States. Currently a program director and Adult & Critical Care Hospitalist at Pulaski, Tennessee-based Hillside Hospital, Dr. Jonathan D. Woolery earned his Master of Science in Medical Science and his Doctor of Medicine from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in St. Maarten, Netherlands Antilles. In addition to practicing internal medicine, he presently serves as President of Vaccin8, LLC, and Medic One Medical Services, LLC. Dr. Jonathan D. Woolery also works locum tenens as an Emergency Room Physician at several hospitals, including St. Alexius Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri; Parkway Regional Hospital in Fulton, Kentucky; Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Missouri; and the Appalachian Regional Healthcare System in eastern Kentucky. Additionally, Dr. Jonathan D. Woolery holds membership in the Society of Critical Care Medicine, the Society of Hospital Medicine, American Medical Association, the American Association for Primary Care Endoscopy (AAPCE), and the American College of Physicians (ACP). Active in Phi Chi Medical Fraternity, Dr. Jonathan D. Woolery has consulted for a number of organizations and presented lectures for more than 15 years for universities and medical and business groups across North and Central America. In 2010, Dr. Woolery delivered "Permissive Hypotension and Lethal Triad in Trauma" at Cruz Roja Mexicana, the Mexican arm of the Red Cross, in Guadalajara, Mexico. That same year, he presented "Influenza in the Workplace" for the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) in Birmingham, Alabama.
