Jon Dunnington

Since 2010, I have been on a fast-paced journey through Entrepreneurship. Before this, I have completed a variety of unrelated job roles including Bar Staff at a local Bar / Function Suite, Retail Assistant at Sports Direct Ltd and Youth Worker for Liverpool City Council & Barnardo's Children's Charity.

I graduated in July 2010 as a Bachelor of Arts (with Honours) in Graphic Design. After searching for 3 months for an opportunity in a shaky economy, I decided to create an opportunity of my own and venture into self-employment. In the first 12 months of being self-employed I had managed to move into business premises and secure Design clients across the world.

3 years on, I am now Managing Director of a parent company covering a total of 4 successful businesses (Unfold Media, Unfold Creative Design, Unfold Direct and Unfold Student Life). Working with a business partner, we offer a whole catalog of services ranging from Social Media Marketing to Field Sales. Creating a team of over 30 employees and a combined turnover of over £250,000 in the last financial year.

We (Unfold Media Ltd) have acted as an outsourced Marketing Agency for various clients across the UK where we are responsible for the brands Marketing and Advertising campaigns whilst adhering to strict brand guidelines.

During this time, I have personally been responsible for Training and Recruitment, Sales, Business Strategy, Marketing Strategy, Branding, Advertising and Communications. As Managing Director of Unfold Media Ltd, I have personally secured contracts and built successful relationships with large brands such as Club 18-30, Holiday Inn and Genting Casino.
