Teacher, Father, and Student in Lakeland, Florida
I am a teacher, father, former athlete and student currently living in Lakeland, Florida. My interests range from technology to programming. I am also interested in DIY, gardening, and politics.
I graduated from the University of South Florida in 2006 with a Bachelor's of Interdisciplinary Social Sciences. Began my teaching career in the fall of 2006 in Hillsborough County teaching math, grades 6th-12th. Took a short sabbatical from teaching in order to play for NFL Europe.
I returned to teaching math in the fall of 2007 for the Hillsborough County School District. During that time I helped start a number of programs at the middle schools in which I taught. One such program was the "Raspberry Pi Club", where I introduced programming and basic robotics to the broader student population.
I am currently teaching math for Polk County School District at the high school which I graduated from.
