Jess Jones

Well my name is Jessica Faith Jones, I am originally from Allen, Texas. I came up here to the Bryan/College Station area for school at Texas A&M University. After completing my freshman year May 2008 I was in a near fatal car accident and in a coma for 4 days giving me a closed head injury but by the grace of God, receiving no bruising or swelling of the brain and no broken bones. After 13 days in ICU, 1 month as an in house patient and 3 1/2 months as an out patient at Pate Rehab, I spent the next year 1/2 recovering at home with my more than amazing parents and sister. Returning to A&M the spring of 2010 and still recieving limitless support by school counselors, teachers, friends and my family still, giving me the desire to give back and be that same support system to another individual. I was then able to begin my opportunity to give back once I was asked onto leadership in my bible study group a part of my church. I just graduated in May 2012 with a bachelor of science in Ag Leadership, where I then began my job search, knowing I'd be staying here for the next year, wanting to stay faithful to the leadership position I was given in my ministry. I interviewed for this job as independent living facilitator and was instantly excited about the job and am now looking foward to gaining consumers with the opportunity to help them all I can!:)
