Roger Jones

Left York Uni in 1969 with a mediocre degree in Social Science. The London Borough of Hounslow kindly took me on at Chiswick Library and financed me to attend Library School. Became an Associate of the Library Association in ’72. Continued to work for LBH until ’74 when I got a job with Berkshire. Stayed until ’76, then to Devon where I was Divisional Librarian based in Newton Abbot. There, in 1979, I wrote and self-published my first book which encouraged me to embark on a publishing career; the rest is history.
