Winner of the "2015 Los Angeles Business Journal's Enterprise CIO of the Year Award (500+ Employees)", Jon has a rich background in the entertainment/technology space, both Fortune 500, and startup experience, having started his career at the company that wrote the first graphics program for the IBM PC, and shipped the world’s first commercially available product for Windows 1.0, finished the graphics library foundation class for Microsoft.
He understands the special needs of a small startup, and the intricacies of a large corporate entity, with global tentacles. He was one of the first employees in both startups, which began his career, and was instrumental in helping both to successfully go public.
An award winning software producer, and manager with over 25 years experience in the development of application, and entertainment software. He’s a prolific inventor, consistently generating new ideas and processes, and especially adept at analyzing and addressing problems that arise during new product design, and development, and in creating new time and money conserving processes.
He thrives in environments that fully utilize technical, and creative skills. He’s worked on a vast expanse of products and titles in consumer electronics, entertainment, internet, interactive gaming and graphics software, with companies / individuals such as: 7th Level, Alan Parsons, Bob Ezrin, Disney, Gateway, House of Blues, Howie Mandel, IBM, Live Nation, Micrografx, Monty Python, Pink Floyd, Quincy Jones and Sony. Jon's proven he can see the big picture while minding the details. He’s highly creative with an intuitive feel for user interface design.
He’s a great problem solver with an impressive list of IP submissions, and patent grants. Many of his inventions stem from thinking about products from a customer’s perspective.
